Remembrance Sunday

Remember

Lest we forget

On the eleventh hour of the eleventh month
The guns fell silent

Each year at 11.00am GMT, on the eleventh of the eleventh (Armistice Day),
We remember those who fell silent

On the nearest Sunday to this we observe Remembrance Sunday. People from all walks of life, old and young, friends and foe all stop to remember and pay respects to those who went before and those who are left

Please remember those................
2 minutes out of 525,600 minutes in a year is not a lot to ask

Thank you

These scenes are repeated in town's and villages throughout Britain

These services took place in the counties of Cambridgeshire and in Suffolk, England

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
Guides pay their respects
Two minute silence
Last of the few (centre - with walking stick)
The march to the church
Remember
Remember
The service begins
The crowd falls silent, as did the guns
Respects
Lone piper
The Few get fewer
Children remember - carrying their thoughts to future generations
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We shall remember them
