There are many sites dedicated to bringing information to the general public and keeping alive the memories of the past.
We have looked through many of them and have come up with a list of 'the few' that we think are worthy of a mention as a site of outstanding interest to the Battle of Britain or to World War II in general

Just because a site is not listed here it does not mean to say it is not a good site. There are thousands out in 'the worlds biggest library' that are just as good

If you are looking for fallen comrades or relatives, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission has a register that provides personal and service details and places of 1.7 million members of the Commonwealth forces who died in the First or Second World Wars.

It also holds the records of 60,000 civilian casualties of the second world war (without burial locations).

Dutch Airwar



Here is an unusual site. It is group of 300+ enthusiasts from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Canada, UK, USA and Australia.
On a voluntary base they research all aspects of the Airwar over Holland and in some cases over Europe as well. Lists of aircraft recovered in Holland and interviews with pilots.
